Lesley Becker studied acting at Lee Strasberg Institute & has degrees in theatre & law, Her plays focus on intractable social issues that bind humankind in a perilous gridlock, including women’s rights, climate change and renewable energy. Niel Maurer co-wrote some pieces with John, helped find some chord progressions & helped chose the song order for the concept album. With an M.A in Theatre from Emerson college Niel knew where to push the emotional threshold of the characters. Adding a chorus when needed, holding onto flighty melodies, Niel helped John craft structures to send to Greg.

Lesley Becker is an award winning scriptwriter, Jazz vocalist & pianist. Based in Burlington VT, she has staged many performances including at the Tenfest in Waitsfield & Brick Theater in Brooklyn. Lesley has extensively researched early Vermont history to craft the dialogue & dramatic arc. She chose which songs from the concept album best suited the story on stage.
